Barley softens on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Feb 17: Barring a weakness in barley prices on tepid demand from consuming industries, other grains held steady at the wholesale grains market today.
Traders said weak demand from consuming industries against ample stocks position mainly led to decline in barley prices.
In the national capital, barley shed Rs 10 to Rs 1,480-1,490 per quintal.
