JAMMU, Dec 1: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) today organised a State level quiz competition on the topic’ Bharat Ko Jano’ at Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, here.
A total of 16 teams (both Junior and senior level) participated in the competition.
In senior level, student of KV No. 1, Gandhi Nagar (Jammu) stood first while second and third prizes were bagged by the students of Oriental Academy and Taawishi Scholar School, respectively.
In junior level, the students of Jodhamal School, Taawishi Scholar School and Environmental School stood first, second and third, respectively.
The chief guest on the occasion, former Minister, Member, CWC-AICC and Incharge, Punjab, Bihar and Chandigarh, Gulchain Singh Charak, presented trophies to the winners of the competition.
Dr Santosh Gupta and Jyotsana Sharma, who were assisted by Vijay Sharma, Arun Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Champa Sharma and Anita Sharma, conducted the quiz.
