SAMBA, Apr 30: A truck carrying eleven (11) bovine animals from Kathua side to Jammu was seized by police at Ghagwal on National Highway early morning today.
A police spokesman said that a naka party from Ghagwal Thana intercepted a truck No. JK02AA/4071 at around 5.30 am. The driver stopped the vehicle at some distance from naka, jumped out and ran away. During physical checking of the vehicle, 11 bovine animals were found loaded in it. The vehicle along with animals was seized. A case was registered in this connection and further investigation started.
