Kashmiri student missing in Bhubaneswar

SRINAGAR, Feb 24: To trace the missing Kupwara boy at Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir Police said they have took-up the matter with Bhubaneswar Police and requested for ascertaining the whereabouts of the missing boy.
A Police spokesman said relatives of Sohail Ejaz Kataria, son of Ajaz Ahmad Kataria, resident of Marsari Chowkibal Kupwara on Tuesday approached the Police Station Kralpora and narrated that Ejaz Ahmad Kataria who was pursuing MBBS course at AIIMS Bhubaneswar Odisha is missing from his College Hostel since Feb 9.
“SSP Kupwara took-up the matter with DCP of Bhubaneswar Police and requested for ascertaining the whereabouts of the missing boy. DCP Bhubaneswar Police has assured early action into the matter.  SSP Kupwara also spoke to the father of the missing boy who is presently at Bhubaneswar and assured all possible help from J&K police in locating the missing boy,” he said.
“The concerned local police have also seized two hand written notes from the Hostel room of the missing boy. The Bhubaneswar Police along with Kashmir Police is making concerted efforts in ascertaining the whereabouts of the missing boy,” he added.
