SRINAGAR, Feb 24: Police arrested a chronic drug peddler and recovered Recodex/ Maxcoff (Psychotropic Substances) bottles from his possession in Anantnag district today.
A Police spokesman said acting on a specific information, a party headed by SHO Dooru nabbed a chronic drug peddler, Showkat Ahmed Sofi, a resident of Khud Hamaam Dooru and recovered Recodex/ Maxcoff (Psychotropic Substances) bottles from his possession.
“A case under FIR No 12/2018 under Section 8/22 of NDPS Act was registered at police station Dooru and investigation was taken up,” he said.
