RAJOURI, Feb 24: To ensure punctuality in Government offices, Sub-Divisional administration Koteranka today conducted surprise inspection of various Government offices in Koteranka, Budhal and Khawas of the district.
The specially constituted teams comprising of Tehsildars, ZEO and Naib Tehsildars under close supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Koteranka Shafiq Ahmed carried out inspection of as many as 19 Government offices.
It was found that among 19 inspected offices, 12 officials, five of Block Development Office Khawas, three of Zonal Education Office Kandi, one of Agricultural Office Kandi, one of AEE PDD office, one of CDPO Koteranka and one from Animal Husbandry Officer Koteranka were found absent whereas three offices including Vetenary Sub-center Khawas, sheep and wool sub-center Khawas and office of AEE PHE Koteranka were found locked at time of inspection.
In Tehsil Social Welfare Office Koteranka, Tehsil Supply Office Koteranka, Range Office Koteranka and Sheep Husbandry centre all employees were present on the duty whereas in ZEO Khawas, no official was present except an orderly and the exact number of officials couldn’t be ascertained. Nine officials in Community Health Centre Kandi and all officials of AEE PDD office were shown on field duty.
The Additional DC Koteranka has submitted a detailed report to the office of Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri for initiating action against the erring officials.
