RO appointed for elections of Registered Pharmacists

JAMMU, Feb 24: The State Government has appointed Surinder Paul Sharma, (Deputy Secretary to Government, Health & Medical Education Department) as Returning Officer to conduct the elections for two registered Pharmacists, one each to be elected amongst the Registered Pharmacists from Jammu Province and Kashmir Province respectively as prescribed under the J&K Pharmacy Act, Samvat, 2011.
The office of President, J&K Pharmacy Council is in process of finalizing the Electoral Rolls of persons enrolled with the Council under the said category.
As per a public notice, issued by Lotika Khajuria, Controller, Drug & Food Control Organization, who is Ex-Officio President of J&K Pharmacy Council, J&K, Jammu,                               it has been  impressed upon all the Registered Pharmacist to get their registration certificate validated from the Council.
It may not out of place to mention that in the event of non payment of renewal fee, such defaulters shall not be eligible to participate in the election process to be notified separately.
