SRINAGAR: Body of a foreign Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant was recovered in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Tuesday, official sources said. They said panic gripped Khosa Mohalla Hajin when residents saw the body.
Police was immediately informed. He was reportedly a foreign militant of LeT, who was injured during a brief encounter between militants and security forces at Bona Mohalla, Hajin on Monday.
The militants had managed to escape after clashes erupted in the area. ”We have started investigation,” they said. (agencies)
