NC women wing holds meet

JAMMU, Apr 30:  In a meeting of National Conference women workers, including Panchs of various areas, Bimla Luthra, MLA, highlighted the achievement of the coalition Government, at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu today.
Seeking people support in further pushing forward development tempo in the State, Luthra said peace is must for bringing prosperity and development. She appealed the people to strengthen the hands of Dr Farooq Abdullah and young Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
On the occasion she distributed cheques under IAY scheme and hand pumps to the needy people for their welfare and said that she is always available to help them particularly poor and downtrodden people. The Government has also launched various schemes for upliftment, she added.
Those who present included Veena Oberoi, Satwant Kour, Lalita Sharma, Reta Gupta, Pinki Bhat, Rano Devi, Raj Kour, Raji, Bharti and others.
