JAMMU, Dec 3: The State Institute of Education Jammu organized a five day workshop for Master-Trainers under RMSA. The programme aims at imparting subject-specific training to the Master Trainers in the subjects of English, Urdu, Hindi and Biology in the first phase. Two teachers/masters in each subject from each district of Jammu Division have been invited for participation in the programme.
The programme was inaugurated by G.A. Qureshi , Director of School Education in the presence of State Project Director RMSA, J&K Hilal Ahmad Parray.
The Joint Director (trgs) Principal SIE Jammu A.C.Aima while welcoming the chief guest stressed upon quality teacher Education both pre-service and In-service which is a national priority.
The Director School Education and State Project Director RMSA underlined the need for providing training to teachers for ensuring competency of teachers and learners.
Both the Directors exhorted the teaching fraternity to work with more devotion and dedication so that the benefit of such programmes percolates down to the grass root level. The participating master trainers were asked to carry forward the spirit of such programmes to the respective districts in an effective manner.
