One killed, 2 injured in accidents

SRINAGAR, Dec 3: One person was killed while as two others were injured in separate accidents across Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a LP truck bearing registration number JK02AQ/7032 rammed with an electric transformer on the national highway near Jawbara-Awantipora, resulting in on spot death of the conductor of the truck identified as Bahar Ahmad son of Fareed Ahmad resident of Maitra, Ramban. The driver of the truck fled away from the spot. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/2866 turned turtle near flour mill Watiyan, Handwara, resulting in injuries to two passengers namely Abdul Rashid Malik son of Ghulam Nabi Malik resident of Malikpora, Kupwara and Waseem Ahmad Khan son of Dawood Khan resident of Warnav, Lolab. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Handwara for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
