SRINAGAR, Dec 3: Demanding regularization of their jobs, dozens of Revenue Department daily wagers today staged protest here to press for their regularization.
Despite working in the department for the past 15 years these daily wagers are working as settlement assistants/ Prisnman.
The protesters said that they are working on meager salary of Rs 2000 per month for past 15 years in far flung areas.
The protesters said that they are the only expert group trained to handle Electronic Total Station (ETS) for digitalization of land records.
The demonstrators have threatened to continue their strike if Government failed to solve their genuine demands.
