JAMMU, Mar 5: Chinore and Banihal police arrested two persons along with 67 pouches of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, a team from Chinore police post during patrolling apprehended a man along with 42 pouches of illicit liquor from Bantalab.
The accused has been identified as Angu, son of Gopal Sidhar of Chattisgarh, at present Dhyeran, Mishriwala.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Chinore police post SI Rajesh Verma made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Sumeet Sharma, SDPO Domana Sandeep Gupta and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
Meanwhile, on reliable information, a team from Banihal Police Station conducted raid in vegetable market and arrested a man along with 25 pouches of illicit liquor.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Din, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat.
A case under FIR Number FIR Number 30/18 under relevant Sections of law has been registered at Banihal Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Banihal Inspector Aejaz Wani made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Dheeraj Singh Katoch and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal.
