Bhuvesh, Mehak emerge winners in quiz, drawing competition

JAMMU, Dec 4: Bhuvnesh Bhan bagged first prize in quiz competition, organized by Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, Bantalab during historical study tour at Krimchi temples in district Udhampur.
Arun and Sanyam Bhat claimed the second and third prizes in the quiz competition.
Meanwhile, a drawing competition on the topic “The historical monuments of India” was also organised in which students made beautiful pictures including temples and forts of country.
In this competition, first prize went to Mehak Chowdhary while Bhumika Sharma and Ashish Shetty secured second and third position respectively.
Puja Sharma, Principal of the school, said that over 106 young students participated in the quiz and drawing contests.
She added that quiz competition was conducted to enhance the knowledge of students about the historical and rich architectural legacy of the State.
“The motto behind conducting these competitions at Krimchi was to bring the children close to the architectural ancestors and cultural traditions of State”, Puja informed.
