JAMMU, Mar 13: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) in a meeting here ,today held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita has expressed concern over the denial of RBA certificates to the migrants from the RBA areas of Kashmir valley.
Addressing the meeting, Pandita said that the issuance of RBA certificates to migrant youth have been deferred by the Government under a conspiracy to deprive the KPs of the benefits which they otherwise could get under this category in seeking the Government job.
He said the Government has deferred the benefit under RBA to migrants on the plea that they are no longer living in the backward areas but it is not understood how the status of these people increased after taking refuge in dingy and stinking camps in Jammu and other parts of the country.
The denial of RBA is a total injustice with the hapless community who has already been facing agony and miseries due to their mass exodus and apathy of the Government. He demanded that the migrants of RBA areas from Valley be given the benefit under this category.
