Earthquake jolts parts of J&K, house damaged

JAMMU, Mar 15: Earthquake jolted various areas of the Chenab valley, here late evening.
As per police sources, earthquake jolted various areas of the Chenab valley including Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Doda, etc at around 8:23 pm.
During earthquake, people were seen running to open spaces to save their lives.
In the earthquake, the residential house of Adil Ahmed, son of Jan Mohammad got damaged at Thathri. However, there was miraculous escape for the residents, as they were sitting in another room.
When contacted SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir told the Excelsior that earthquake jolted Doda district at around 8:23 pm, in which a house got damaged at Thathri. However, no human loss or injury has been reported from any corner of the district till late night, he added.
