JAMMU, Dec 5: Voluntarily retired employees of J&K State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) have decided to organize a large protest rally at the Exhibition Ground on December 10.
In a meeting of All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees Association held under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali here today, the speakers strongly criticized the management of the Corporation for non-payment of their pending dues. They alleged that authorities had assured to clear their dues within 60 days before VRS but now even after three years, their pending dues have not been cleared. They demanded 126 slabs of arrears pending with the SRTC. It was also resolved in the meeting to hold strong rally near Press Club on December 10 from 10.30 am onwards in support of VRS/GHS employees.
