This has reference to the horrible road accident at Mella Morh Hiranagar that claimed three precious lives and injured many. This is man made tragedy as can be ascertained from the speed at which drivers ply on the road. It usually takes mere 20 minutes to cover the distance between Hiranagar and Kathua. So a long distance at such a speed! One really feels horrified on mere its mention.
Our village Koota lost two young boys for no fault of theirs.
In order to avoid such accidents in the future it is requested to IGP Traffic Basant Rath and other concerned officials to streamline traffic on the route.
Besides, the services of Rajdhani Bus Services should be stopped at once for the sake of safety of passengers. The driver of these buses are law unto themselves, besides being inexeperienced. It is also been observed that they use cell phones during driving.
