JAMMU, Mar 20: Alex Pykett, Head of Foreign and Security Policy Team and Dr Deep Jyoti Barman, senior Foreign Policy Advisor, Foreign Policy and Security Team from British High Commission New Delhi called upon Chamber of Commerce & Industry members here to get an update on various issues regarding economy, security and political situation in the J&K State.
On this occasion, president JCCI, Rakesh Gupta updated the visiting guests regarding worsening economic conditions, dissatisfaction among people who sent so many elected representatives to the State Legislature from across Jammu, turbulent political situation, growing militancy and also threat from foreign settlement in Jammu.
The other office bearers present on the occasion include Rajesh Gupta, senior vice president, Rajeev Gupta, junior vice president, Manish Gupta, secretary general, Gaurav Gupta, secretary and Ashu Gupta, treasurer.
