JAMMU, Mar 20: Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Jammu Postal Division organized a function for the release of special cover in honour of Stephen Hawking, the world’s renowned physicist at Gandhi Nagar Head Post Office, here today.
Nirmaljit Singh, Postmaster General Jammu released the special postal cover with distinctive cancellation on theme.
Speaking on the occasion, Nirmaljit Singh stressed that these events will go a long way in creating awareness among the students and masses for inculcating scientific temper amongst the general populace and especially among the youth.
One special counter for the sale of special cover, My Stamps and other philatelic material is available at the Philatelic Bureau, Gandhi Nagar Head Post Office. Covers will be on sale at Philatelic Bureaus Gandhi Nagar Head Office Jammu.
