SAMBA, Mar 20: A lady namely Seema Devi W/o Kuldeep Raj R/o Chack Ram Chand Samba died after she was operated for family planning at Vijaypur Emergency Hospital today.
Police said soon after the operation, her condition deteriorated and the doctors referred her to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment. But she died in the GMC later. The Vijaypur Police has taken the cognizance of the case and the cause of the death is being ascertained. The negligence during the operation by doctors can’t be ruled out, police said.
