BHADERWAH, Mar 22: A youth, who was a successful transporter allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at Haveli Mohalla, here today.
As per police sources, Neeraj Kumar (24), son of Chunni Lal, a resident of village Bhadara Shiva of district Doda allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his rented accommodation at Haveli Mohalla.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, where after conducting autopsy, the body has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPc has been initiated by Bhaderwah Police to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
