UDHAMPUR, Mar 25: Thousands of inhabitants of village Dhanwalt and adjoining hamlets continue to remain cut off from mainland for the last seven month following blockage of Ramnagar to Dhanwalt road due to landslide near Thanu and worst condition of the road.
About 10 thousand villagers of Konain, Bhiala, Samna Banj, Blota, Thanu and Dhanwalt are suffering because of the landslide and consequent blockage of the road, which is only surface link for them to Ramnagar mainland.
Alleging no action by the administration to clear the blockage and improve the road condition, locals of village Dhanwalt and adjoining area also held a protest demonstration today and raised slogans against the Government.
