UDHAMPUR, Mar 27: Under mysterious circumstances, a man was found hanging from a tree near his house at Thill Roun in Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Dharm Chand (47), son of Bishva Nath of village Thill Roun. Some locals found him hanging from tree around 7.30 pm and informed the Police in this regard.
A Police party from PP Roun Domail rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
Even as it appeared to be a case of suicide, Police has started inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC.
