JAMMU, Dec 7: Government today ordered transfers and postings of 38 officers including one IAS with immediate effect besides placement of 18 Time Scale KAS officers against the available vacancies in Selection Grade on officiating basis.
According to an order issued by General Administration Department, Farooq Ahmad Khan, Special Secretary, Finance Department has been transferred and posted as Director, Land Records, Kashmir against an available vacancy. Zubair Ahmad, Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Department has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Finance Department.
Mohammad Akbar Ganai, Additional District Development Commissioner, Budgam has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Cooperative Department. Arif-ullah, Special Secretary, School Education Department has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.
Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, Additional District Development Commissioner, Kupwara has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Budgam. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara will hold the additional charge of the post of Additional District Development Commissioner, Kupwara till further orders.
Mohammad Anwar, Additional Secretary, Labour and Employment Department has been posted as Special Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, on officiating basis. Soujanya Kumar Sharma, Joint Director, Information Jammu has been transferred and posted as Executive Director, Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society, Jammu on officiating basis relieving Robin Singh Mehta, Director Tourism Jammu of the additional charge of the post.
Muzaffar Ahmad Peer, Additional Secretary in the Winter Secretariat has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Agriculture Production Department. Dr Firdous Ahmad Giri, Additional Secretary, Cooperative Department has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Winter Secretariat.
According to another order, 18 Time Scale KAS officers have been placed against the available vacancies in Selection Grade of KAS on officiating basis.
These officers are Mohammad Yousaf Mir, Mohammad Younis Malik, Shubra Sharma, Inderjeet, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Qazi Sarwar, Vikas Sharma, Indu Kanwal Chib, Rajesh Kumar Shavan, Mohd Shafiq Chak, Mushtaq Ahmad, Tej Kishan Bhat, Manzoor Ahmad Sofi, Angrej Singh Rana, Abdul Salam Mir, Dara Singh Kotwal, Subash Chander Chibber and Nazir Ahmad Khwaja.
Consequent upon these placements, Government ordered transfers and postings of 29 officers including one IAS with immediate effect.
Jatinder Kumar Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Planning and Development Department. Ajay Kumar, Joint Director Tourism, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Regional Transport Officer, Kathua-Lakhanpur vice Shiv Kumar Gupta.
Mohammad Yousaf Mir, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Karnah-Tangdhar has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department on officiating basis. Mohammad Younis Malik, Special Assistant to Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats has been transferred and posted as OSD with Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats on officiating basis.
Inderjeet, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Reasi has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Information on officiating basis. Shiv Kumar Gupta, Regional Transport Officer, Kathua-Lakhanpur has been transferred and posted as Joint Director Tourism, Jammu on officiating basis. He will also hold the additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority till further orders.
Qazi Sarwar, Assistant Commissioner Development, Budgam has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Housing and Development Department on officiating basis. Indu Kanwal Chib, Deputy Director in Directorate of Rural Development, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Rural Development Department on officiating basis.
Rajesh Kumar Shavan, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar. Mohd Shafiq Chak, Assistant Settlement Commissioner has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Budgam against an available vacancy on officiating basis. Administrative Officer in the office of Financial Commissioner Revenue will hold the additional charge of the post of Assistant Settlement Commissioner till further orders.
Tej Krishan Bhat, Special Assistant to Minister for Technical Education has been transferred and posted as OSD with Minister for Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports. Manzoor Ahmad Sofi, Assistant Commissioner Development Pulwama has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Employment Kashmir.
Angrez Singh Rana, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority Bhaderwah on officiating basis vice Kalyan Singh. CEO Tourism Development Kishtwar will hold the additional charge of the post of Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishtwar till further orders.
Abdul Salam Mir, Executive Officer, J&K State Haj Committee has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, School Education Department (HRM Branch). Dara Singh Kotwal, Project Officer, Self Employment Samba has been transferred and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Udhampur.
Subash Chander Chibber, Deputy Secretary, Higher Education Department has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department on officiating basis. Reyaz Ahmad Sofi, awaiting orders of adjustment in the Directorate of Rural Development Department, Kashmir has been posted as Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Budgam. He will hold the additional charge of the post of Collector, Land Acquisition, Special Army, Budgam and Srinagar till further orders.
Kalyan Singh, CEO Tourism Development Authority Bhaderwah has been transferred and posted as Project Officer, Self Employment Samba. Nawab Din, Project Officer Self Employment Doda has been transferred and posted as Assistant Development Commissioner Revenue, Reasi. Assistant Commissioner Development Doda will hold the additional charge of the post of Project Officer, Self Employment Doda till further orders.
Rakesh Kumar Sarangal, Deputy Director, Local Bodies Jammu has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director, District Employment and Counseling Centre, Kathua. Babu Ram, Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar. He will assume the charge of the post on January 16, 2013 after completion of ongoing summary revision of electoral rolls-2013.
Abdul Aziz Sheikh, Deputy Director, District Employment and Counseling Centre, Budgam has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Uri. Akram Ullah Tak, Project Officer, Self Employment Kulgam has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Development, Pulwama. Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Deputy Director Information (Audio-Visual) has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Karnah-Tangdhar. Natasha Kalsotra, Deputy Director, District Employment and Counseling Centre, Kathua has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director in the Directorate of Rural Development, Jammu. Vinod Kumar Behnal, General Manager, DIC Ramban has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Local Bodies, Jammu vice Rakesh Kumar Sarangal.
Ashiq Hussain Lilly, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Uri has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ganderbal. Abid Maqbool Bhat, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ganderbal has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Tourism Kashmir and Mohammad Maqoob Bhat, Deputy Director, Recreation, Directorate of Tourism, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as Project Officer, Self Employment, Kulgam.
Shubra Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Mushtaq Ahmad and Nazir Ahmad Khwaja, who are already functioning against the Selection Grade/equivalent level posts of KAS will continue to work on these posts till further orders.
