JAMMU, Mar 29: MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta kick-started the Phase II development work at B.C Road Shopkeepers Market adjacent to Trikuta Shopping Complex.
During the first phase face lift of the area floor tiles were laid at the cost of Rs 6.5 lakh and in the second phase construction of two urinals with proper drainage system has been taken up keeping in line with the demand of the Association of shopkeepers of the area, as Summer’s are approaching.
It was also decided to install one water cooler for open public on the special request of J.P Sharma working president of the Shopkeepers Association of the area. Further Rajesh Gupta complimented J.P Sharma for his the selfless efforts in the development and beautification of the area by installing street lights and flowerpots with the help of the concerned departments.
Gupta has assured that he will be more than happy to extend every kind of help to people of the area as he wants his Constituency to be one of the best in the city of temples.
