KATHUA, Mar 29: The students of Government Degree College Kathua residing in boys hostel held a protest demonstration and blocked the College Road for some time.
The students were raising slogans against the college authorities and were demanding the basic facilities in the hostel. The protesters supported by ABVP and college student Gourav, Mukesh, Rakesh said that there is no proper drinking water and electricity facility in the boys hostel of Government Degree College Kathua.
They alleged that despite the regular complaints made by them that there are no basic facilities in hostel, no one from the college administration took care of it. The annual examination of college is also on schedule and the students are facing undue problems. They lifted the protest after college authorities assured them to solve their issues.
