UDHAMPUR, Mar 30: A missing septuagenarian man has been found dead in river Tawi, today morning.
As per police sources, a missing man identified as Dina Nath (75), son of Lasha of Madha was found dead in river Tawi near Chenani.
The person was missing since March 28 and a complaint in this regard was registered at Chenani Police Station yesterday.
After conducting autopsy at Sub District Hospital Chenani, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Chenani police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain the reason behind the death.
