SAMBA, Apr 1: Bari Brahmana police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 5080 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Bari Brahmana Police Station conducted raid in main bazaar area and arrested four gamblers along with Rs 5080 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested gamblers have been identified as Parvinder Kumar, son of Prem Lal of Smailpur, Pervez Ahmed, son of Saleem Mohammad of Nagrota, Rinku Singh, son of Chaman Lal of Smailpur and Reyaz Choudhary, son of Mohammad Din of Khaddian Bari.
All the gamblers have been booked under Section 13 Gambling Act by Police Station Bari Brahmana.
Police team led by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Ashok Sharma and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
