Tiku’s book on rituals released

JAMMU, Apr 1: A book on rituals shaped and compiled by social worker and founder ‘Sanskar’, HN Tiku in an impressive and well attended function, organized by ‘Sanskar’ Organisation in collaboration with ‘Samprati’ at Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Amphalla, here today.
The function was presided over by noted doctor and literary scholar, Dr KL Chowdhary, while President Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, KK Khosa, well known neurologist, Dr Susheel Razdan and educationist Dr Rattan Lal Shant were present on the occsion
The book titled ‘Dainik Achaarans/Rituals and their Religious & Social Implications’ is a very valuable addition to every household especially growing up generations as it is bound to inculcate in them sense of morality and probity in their humanistic behavior, besides making them more knowledgeable about the importance of various acts, vidhi and the things that we use in our day to day pujas and rituals.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Chowdhary exhorted that Hinduism is not only a way of life but religion as well.
Prof Shant in his address while lauding the efforts of Mr Tiku in bringing out a book on rituals said that youngsters should be aware of all these rituals and ‘sanskars’ mentioned in the book.
Earlier, Mr Tiku spoke about the necessity of ‘sanskars’ mentioned in the book and their importance in daily life of every believer.
Dr Sujata Sathoo conducted the proceedings of the programme, while Vijay Wali and Satish Koul ‘Safeer’ read two papers about the book and its compiler.
Noted writers who attended the function included Ashok Gowhar, PN Trisal, Pyara Hatash, Rajinder Agoish, Kundan Paras, MK Wafadar, PN Shad, KL Pardesi and Ramesh Aagor, while eminent doctors who graced the occasion were Dr MK Mam, Dr Shadi Lal Kachroo, Dr C Tiku and Dr TK Moza.
