JAMMU, Apr 2: Vice Chairperson (VC), Jammu and Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation, Balbir Ram Rattan, today reviewed the working of the Corporation.
While reviewing the working, Balbir Ram Rattan asked the officers to ensure quick disposal of loan case files in a time bound manner so that target group members can get benefits of the welfare schemes hassle free. He said that all officers/officials shall ensure a public-friendly atmosphere in their respective offices.
Balbir asked Divisional Manager, Jammu, to issue instructions to all District Managers that they will ensure submission of loan case files in the Head Office in complete form. He said that District Manager shall be held accountable for any deficiency if reported in the files at Head Office level. Moreover, the District Manager concerned shall not take more than 15 days in any loan case file from the date of selection to the date of submission to Head Office.
He further said that District Managers will not wait for bulk cases to conduct their interviews and instead they will ensure that the interviews are conducted when at least five loan cases are received by them so that beneficiaries are not made to suffer.
The VC directed Divisional Manager, Jammu, to ensure regular presence of District Managers in their respective offices to take stock of working of each district on weekly basis. Divisional Manager, Jammu, was also asked to provide tour diaries of District Managers along with their progress reports on monthly basis.
Balbir stressed upon the officers to ensure that loan case files do not remain more than three days on any table in the Head Office. He also directed the officers to ensure that copies of each communication be made to State/Central Governments and Apex Corporations invariably.
The meeting was attended by GQ Khatana, Divisional Manager-Cum-General Manager, Jammu, Mohammad Iqbal Kataria, Manager Projects, Anil Gupta, Manager Finance, Kasturi Lal Bhagat, Manager Recoveries, Joginder Paul Atri, District Manager, Jammu, Anu Gupta, Section Officer, Sanjeev Dogra and Manoj Kumar, Assistant Accounts Officers, Rupali Langer, Technical Supervisor and Mohinder Paul, Statistician.
