UDHAMPUR, Apr 2: MLA Udhampur Pawan Gupta dedicated a newly installed hand-pump to the public of Goswami Mohalla, Mand East in presence of some prominent people of the area.
On the occasion, MLA said that a deputation of Goswami Mohalla, Mand East approached him and requested for installation of one hand-pump in the area for providing relief to the residents of area from the scarcity of drinking water.
To fulfil this long pending demand Gupta inaugurated the newly installed hand-pump and dedicated it to the residents of the area.
Addressing the gathering, MLA assured sustained and equitable development both in urban and rural areas of Udhampur Constituency.
Residents of the area also attracted attention of Gupta towards some other issues, to which he assured early action.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included youth leader Rohit Sethi, Parkash Goswami, Sanjay Kumar, Sonu Goswami, Nasib Chand, Darbari Lal, Jagdish Lal, Meer Chand and Vijay Kumar.
