Students protest against CBSE

JAMMU, Apr 2: A large number of CBSE students today held a protest against the leakage of papers of Class 10th Maths and Class 12th Economics.
The students from various CBSE affiliated schools including Kendriya Vidyalayas assembled near Dogra Chowk and raised slogans against the CBSE. They demanded resignation of CBSE Chairperson, Anita Karwal and accused the board of negligence.
The agitating students said that they will not take part in the re examination as they are not responsible for paper leakage.
Meanwhile, a protest was also held by the students at Gandhi Nagar, where they burnt tyres to express their anger. However, they were pacified by DSP Gandhi Nagar, who reached the spot and assured them to take up the matter with the concerned authorities.
Karandeep Singh Lucky (a social worker) and Aastik Kohli (a student leader), while speaking at the protest site, said that students  were being made to suffer due to the mistake of CBSE and the Board was playing with the future of students by conducting a re-examination.
