JAMMU, Apr 2: A victim of road accident today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, a man identified as Kaleshwar Patel (25) son of Ghansham Patel, resident of Chattisgarh (at present Sarore), was shifted here at GMCH yesterday after a cycle on which he was going on, was hit by a speeding truck at Bari-Brahmana near Pahalwan Sweet Shop.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 3.30 AM. “After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was today handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he added.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
