UDHAMPUR, Apr 3: Residents of Madha village and the students of GHS Madha, Chenani in Udhampur protested against the shortage of staff in the institution in front of Deputy Commissioner Office, here today.
The protesters said that there is strength of about 250 students in Government High School Madha, while the strength of the staff is just 3 teachers, thus the students are left in the lurch.
They further said that the students are facing manifold problems to get their queries solved pertaining to their subjects and there is no proper seating arrangement.
Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar assured the protesters that the issue will be solved at an earliest.
