SRINAGAR, Apr 3: Army’s Drug de-addiction Centre, Baramulla organized a seminar on ill effects of drugs and de-addiction at The College School, Banglow Bagh, old town of Baramulla district.
An Army spokesman said the seminar was aimed for the adolescent students who are not aware of the terminal effects of drug addiction.
He said drug de-addiction Centre, Baramulla, has been working relentlessly in spreading awareness among the locals about the ill effects of drugs on personal health and society and drug de-addiction Centre further assists the addicts in getting out of this dreadful ailment.
“Psychological counselors from the drug de-addiction Centre, Baramulla started the seminar with the introduction to drug addiction followed by its causes and ways to get out of it. More than 100 students along with the Principal and faculty attended the seminar,” he said.
