Adele got ordained for Alan Carr’s wedding

LONDON, Apr 4: Comedian Alan Carr said Adele “got ordained” to marry him and his partner Paul Drayton in January.
The 41-year-old TV personality said the “Hello” hitmaker insisted to organise the D-day and got the duo married in the back garden of her Los Angeles home, Femalefirst reported.
“We got married in Adele’s back garden in Los Angeles. She’s known me and Paul for ages and she said she wants to do everything, so she did everything. She got ordained and married us and then she did the whole day. She is the kindest, sweetest, most loveliest people I’ve ever met,” Carr said on “This Morning” show.
He said Adele flew the couple to Las Vegas to see Celine Dion perform and even sang “our first dance”.
“It was the best day of my life. She’s the most generous, I can’t thank her enough. It was lovely and I just want to tell everyone. Flowers, three-course meal and she just planned it all and it was the best day,” Carr added.
Adele also confirmed the news on Instagram where she posted her photograph dressed in pearly white robes standing with her back to a wall of white roses, probably one of the clicks from the wedding.
“Seeing as the cats out the bag. I married two of my best friends in January. You know me any excuse to dress up…” she captioned the picture and tagged Carr.
The comedian had earlier said the ceremony was “small, private”, which was organised by a “party planner”. (PTI)
