JAMMU, Apr 5:  Panun Kashmir (PK) today criticised the Chief Minister,  Mehbooba Mufti for advocating initiation of dialogue between India and Pakistan which amounts to crossing of her limits.
In a meeting held here to discuss the situation arising out of statement given by Mehbooba urging Centre to hold talks with a rogue State Pakistan, the president of Panun Kashmir, Vijay Bhat termed statement as a separatist in nature and aimed at helping Pakistan and its supporters in the Kashmir valley. Bhat reminded Mehbooba that it is the prerogative of Centre, whether to hold talks with Pakistan or not and also the terms and conditions of the talks will be set up by India and not Pakistan.
Reacting sharply Ravinder Jalali convenor termed the statement of Mehbooba for calling a dialogue with Pakistan as unfortunate and unwarranted. He further said that she is stretching her limits knowing well that it is the Centre and Centre alone who can decide on the resumption of talks.
It was also resolved in the meeting that India -Pakistan relations are between the two countries and State of J&K has no role in it and Mehbooba by giving such statements are only misleading the country and diverting the attention of the people from her failures to contain militancy in the State, rather the militancy is nurtured by the Government by adopting pro-separatists programmes and policies like amnesty to stone pelters and withdrawing cases against them.
