JAMMU, Dec 8: A mini-bus conductor was killed while at least six persons were injured in two road accidents at Pouni in Reasi and Bikram Chowk area of the winter capital city here today.
A report from Reasi said one Deep Raj, son of Krishan Lal, resident of Pouni -Marhi, was critically injured after a mini bus over turned on the road near Pouni this evening. He was standing in the door of the vehicle and was badly crushed under it. He was rushed to Pouni hospital where doctor declared him as dead. Three other passengers who received minor injuries were provided first aid at the same hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, three persons identified as Raj Kumar, son of Durga Dass, his wife Sushma Mehta and daughter, Ruchika were injured, when their scooter was hit by an unknown vehicle at Bikram Chowk.
All the injured persons were shifted to Govt Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. Their condition was stated to be stable. The police registered a case for investigation.
