JAMMU, Apr 6: Taking strong note of the frequent and unauthorized visits by officers, officials from subordinate offices of the School Education Department and the educational institutions to the Administrative Department, the Government has asked such officials to desist from visiting the Civil Secretariat without proper permission from the concerned Director of School Education.
“It is enjoined upon all the officers, officials from subordinate offices of the School Education Department and the educational institutions that they shall not visit the Administrative Department without proper permission from concerned Director of School Education,” said a circular issued by the Secretary to the Government, School Education Department.
It said any person found involved in the breach of these instructions, shall be dealt with stern punitive action, as warranted under rules.
Secretary Education said the decision to discourage Education Department officials from frequently visiting the Administrative Department has been taken in the interest of the student community.
