JAMMU, Apr 8: Regional Director Survey and Land Records (Ex-Officio Settlement Officer) Udhampur/Reasi Amit Sharma termed last mile connectivity as key to success for implementation of Smart City Models across the board on nation.
He mentioned same and lot of other innovative concepts during Naya Raipur Smart City Summit which concluded in Chhattisgarh wherein lot of experts, officers and industry leaders participated to share their perspectives during different tracks and sessions.
Amit Sharma was invited to speak as an e-Governance expert during a panel discussion on “Leveraging IT and eGovernance for Building Smart Cities” in this National Summit.
Other who joined the dice in panel discussion included Dr Kamal Preet Singh, Secretary Industries and Finance Department, Government of Chattisgarh, Dr Rajendra Jagtap, Chief Executive Officer, Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited, Sayaji Shinde, Business Head-Smart Cities and Infrastructure, Schneider Electric Software and Sandeep Gupta, Senior Vice President, IL&FS Technologies Limited.
A field visit was organized to Naya Raipur Smart City wherein novel infrastructure projects were studied by the delegates of different States including Amit Sharma.
