DODA, Apr 14: Around 50 cattle including sheeps and goats were killed, while 30 others were injured in leopard attack in Kutti area of block Chilly, here today.
As per police sources, a leopard reportedly attacked a cattle and killed 50 sheeps and goats and injured 30 others.
The cattle belonged to Choudhary Lal Hussain, son of Fatta Mohammad, a resident of Kutti, block Chilly.
The villagers alleged that the Wildlife Department authorities are negligent despite being informed several times about the presence of leopards in the area.
Gandoh police has taken cognizance in this regards.
