Randhawa conducts extensive tour of Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU, Apr 16: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today conducted extensive tour to Gandhi Nagar constituency and listened to the public grievances.
The places which were covered during his tour included Gadigarh, Ajit Nagar, Apna Vihar extension, Shiva Colony, Shankar Colony and Deep Nagar. While visiting these places Randhawa met series of delegations and deliberated the issues raised by them. The locals who met the MLC raised various issues of public concern. They said that their areas despite under Gandhi Nagar constituency lack basic amenities like proper supply of drinking water, power infrastructure and have dilapidated condition of roads, lanes and drains.
Ch. Vikram while interacting with the locals lambasted the previous Congress legislators who claimed himself as father of development. Randhawa said that the development model of the BJP is before the public and one can compare the development of three years of BJP rule with the last 65 years.
Randhawa assured the public that he and the legislator from Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta, are always at their disposal and will leave no stone unturned to ensure that Gandhi Nagar becomes a model constituency of the State. He urged the public to come forward and avail the people friendly welfare scheme of the present dispensation.
