RAMBAN, Apr 16: A drug peddler has been arrested along with cannabis from Cafeteria Morh area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramban Police Station.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Ramban Police Station apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 500 grams of cannabis from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Ghulam Hussain, son of Akber Wani of Ashar Tehsil Banihal.
A case under FIR Number 53/18 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge SHO Ramban SI Sumit Magotra and assisted by ASI Mohammad Ramzan made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Tussif Ahmed, Additional SP Ramban Mushtaq Chowdhary and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal.
