JAMMU, Apr 16: The sleuths of Special Operation Group (SOG) Component and Police Station Nagrota arrested a drug peddler along with cannabis.
According to SP Operation Vinay Sharma, the sleuths of SOG Component and Police Station Nagrota laid a naka and intercepted a Scorpion car bearing registration number JK22-4299.
“During checking, cops recovered 1.5 kilograms of cannabis from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Sajad Ahmed, son of Mohammad Khalil Bhat, a resident of District Anantnag”, SP added.
A case under FIR Number 89/18 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigations started.
The arrest and recovery was made by police team headed by ASI Mohammad Sadiq under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Manhas, SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh Slathia and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh.
