Fire breaks out in Mubarak Mandi complex

JAMMU, Apr 17: A fire broke out in a portion of heritage Mubarak Mandi complex here this morning.
As per police sources, fire broke out in the portion of heritage Mubarak Mandi complex here today morning.

On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Acting swiftly over the information, fire fighters along with 10 tenders from Gandhi Nagar, Gangyal, Canal Road, Roop Nagar and City fire stations rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the flames. Potable pumps were also pressed into service to reach the targeted area
Director Fire and Emergency Services RK Hak, Joint Director RT Dubey and Deputy Director RC Raina also rushed to the spot and personally supervised the entire fire fighting operation.
After hectic efforts, fire fighters brought the inferno under control.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while there has been no loss reported to the articles kept inside the complex.
However, Pacca Danga police has taken cognizance to ascertain the reason behind the fire.
