Governor releases ‘Koshur Ki Ramayan’

JAMMU, Apr 17: Governor N.N. Vohra released ‘Koshur Ki Ramayan’, a bilingual volume written by the veteran author Birj Nath Bhat Hali, at the Raj Bhavan. This volume contains the Ramayan in Urdu and Kashmiri in Devnagri script.
Governor lauded the author’s diligence in translating Ramayana in two languages and presenting both versions in one volume. He observed that this work of great literary merit should attract serious interest across a very wide spectrum of readership.
Governor stressed the importance of such books being purchased by the State Library Committee and made available in district and tehsil level libraries for promoting the interest of the general readership. Governor complimented Hali and wished him success in all his future literary endeavours.
