UDHAMPUR, Apr 17: One person died and another got injured when an over speeding car rammed collided with a truck on the National Highway near Tikri.
According to the Police reports, Tavera car bearing registration number JK01R-1123 was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar when it rammed into rear side of the truck at Mand near Tikri resulting into death of one person and injuries to other.
Habibullah Lone (59), son of Abdul Khaliq Lone of Kupwara Kashmir died on the spot while Jamila Bagam (55), wife of Mohmed Asif of Kupwara was injured.
The injured was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment while the dead body was shifted to PHC Tikri for the postmortem.
