Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Dec 10: Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) today demanded amendment in the Cabinet order and regularization of technocrats on batch-wise pattern vis-à-vis curtailment in the time-period for regularization. Addressing a press conference, Dr Surinder Radotra, president, JKATA, said that they are working for the benefit of Rehbar-e-Ziraats (ReZ) for the last over a decade. He said that without any intimation or elections in the union how it is possible that their banner has been used by anti union elements thus creating voids and confusion between serving Rehbar-e-Ziraats (ReZ) and Government. We want batch-wise regularization as our seniors are facing lot of hardships and have crossed or are at the verge of age bar relaxation, he informed. Dr Maneet Singh, senior vice president, JKATA disclosed that the self created associations in the name of JKATA are using it on social networking site “FACEBOOK” on the name JKATA-Jammu and JKATA ReZ, which is totally illegal and spreading wrong message to serving ReZs. Dr Singh said that allegations on Dr Surinder Radotra are baseless and if they have any solid proof, then should prove it within 2 days. Among others present were Dr Rajiv Chib, general secretary, Dr Abhimanyu Mahajan, district president, Dr Pawan Dev Singh, district senior vice president, Dr Sikinder Singh, district vice president, Bupinder Singh, Rajesh Kumar and Mohan Singh.
