JAMMU, Apr 17: MLA Jammu East and BJP chief whip, Rajesh Gupta, today kick started the work of the construction of flooring by way of marble pieces and wall tiles at Ramdassian Sabha, Kanji House in Ward No 7.
The estimated cost of the work is Rs 14 lakh and the amount has been provided by the MLA from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, said that Jammu East has been put on a fast track growth trajectory and in the days to come we are going to witness the unfolding of many new and modern projects like the multi tier parking project at Bus Stand, the work which is progressing at a fast pace.
He said that the trial run of the Gondola has already taken place and shall be opened for the public shortly. He informed the people that Jammu East has achieved almost hundred percent black topping of the roads.
The MLA was accompanied by JMC officials, AEE Anil Gupta and Junior Engineer Mohd Yaseen, besides Ramdassian committee members, Shiv Ram, Mangat Ram, Jugal Kishore, Ashok Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Ravi Angral, Sethi Baba, Surinder Kumar, Adarsh Kumar, Kuldeep and Jia Lal.
The BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA include Surinder Anand, PC Gupta, Ramesh Sharma, Rajeev Bharadwaj, Kuldeep Kandhari, Gopal Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, Hari Om Sharma, Subhash Sanghra, Gokul Koul and Subhash.
